Take a quick look at 30 seconds of this Rodney Howard Browne video clip from Summer Camp Meeting

Last Sunday on December 13 2009 was such an amazing day, It was my first time working in the Childrens Church and most certainly will not be the last, there was so many kids getting saved and they just loved the lord and loved that he loved them, they had so much fun and loved hearing the story’s a bout Jesus Christ that was told in class, it was also very good to see that most of them were not really there just for the presents and had a lot of fun, I have to say the future looks very bright and not only just that, the parents were great and greatly Impacted as well.

I have to say i had no idea what to expect on this beautiful Sunday morning especially when it was my first time working in the kids church, the kids were all so cool and smart young kids, especially for the age of 5 years old, they were all so joyful and happy to say that they except Jesus as there lord and savior and invited him into there harts, I would love to see what great things the lord has in store for all these kids.

I believe the seeds planted in them on this beautiful Spirit filled Sunday morning will be wonderful and I can’t wait to see how many of them will come back next week. I only wish that I spoke Spanish for some of the kids who didn’t understand me although we did have people who spoke Spanish and I know that they got to these kids just the same, glory to God and all his wonderful works. I know that all of these kids will have a wonderful effect on there community and affect many as they grow wherever they are.

My goal was 10 souls. I led 24 in one hour, and 19 were children.

On the thirteenth of December, we had an amazing outreach into the local Tampa Bay area through a massive toy distribution into the community for any child who needed a toy for Christmas. We as a church had been going out on the streets; advertising and saturating the community with fliers for weeks and leading people to the Lord through what we called “Operation Raven.” Nothing was quite so amazing as watching those same families come to church on Sunday and being able to show them the love of God in a way they had never experienced it before..

The kids that were brought in were so excited to be there and were all smiles and laughter. I was helping in the children’s ministry and doing praise and worship with the band, that day and I cannot explain how beautiful it was to see two hundred and fifty children raising their hands and worshiping God. It was such an honor to be in that position and to see what God can do through you and in the lives of so many kids. The whole team on stage were blown away. The games and lesson that were taught were made so alive that when the altar call was given, there was not a dry eye in that sea of children.

The graphic account of how Jesus bore our sins for us so that we could be with him was very intense and not a child moved in the whole building. When the altar call was given, one hundred and fifty-six of them poured toward the altar and committed their lives to Jesus for the very first time. That in itself made the whole day worthwhile. It was so cool to be able to be used of God in such a life changing way, it is such a blessing to volunteer at this church.

The Mighty One, God, the Lord, speaks and calls the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting. 2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth. 3 Our God comes and does not keep silence; a fire devours before Him, and round about Him a mighty tempest rages. 4 He calls to the heavens above and to the earth, that He may judge His people: 5 Gather together to Me My saints [those who have found grace in My sight], those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice. 6 And the heavens declare His righteousness (rightness and justice), for God, He is judge. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! 7 Hear, O My people, and I will speak; O Israel, I will testify to you and against you: I am God, your God. 8 I do not reprove you for your sacrifices; your burnt offerings are continually before Me. 9 I will accept no bull from your house nor he-goat out of your folds. 10 For every beast of the forest is Mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills or upon the mountains where thousands are. 11 I know and am acquainted with all the birds of the mountains, and the wild animals of the field are Mine and are with Me, in My mind. 12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world and its fullness are Mine. 13 Shall I eat the flesh of bulls or drink the blood of goats? 14 Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High, 15 And call on Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall honor and glorify Me. Psalms 50:1-15 AMP

Almighty God is the Creator and Law-giver of heaven and earth. He is our one and only Judge and the only One we should fear (reverential fear). Only He has the right to judge and His judgments are sure and true and final. At the same time, He is also a merciful judge who willingly accepts an appropriate offering given with a right heart and pure motive. He is very slow to anger and very quick to forgive! In verse 5 He says, “Gather together to Me My saints – those who have found grace in My sight – those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.” The covenant we have with the Father is wholly based on the sacrifice made by Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Because of Jesus, God’s grace is freely poured out on His children.

God is not blood-thirsty, but it takes blood to wash away sin (verse 13). Jesus’ blood paid the price once and for all. He did what we cannot do. If we truly have a revelation of the price paid by the Father and the Son, we would never, ever take Him or His grace for granted.

The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination, hateful and exceedingly offensive to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright is His delight! 9 The way of the wicked is an abomination, extremely disgusting and shamefully vile to the Lord, but He loves him who pursues righteousness (moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation). Proverbs 15:8-9 AMP

To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me [unless they are the offering of the heart]? says the Lord. I have had enough of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts [without obedience]; and I do not delight in the blood of bulls or of lambs or of he-goats [without righteousness].
Isaiah 1:11 AMP

Has the Lord as great a delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim (household good luck images).
1 Samuel 15:22-23a AMP

All the sacrifices in the world cannot make up for a wayward heart. The sacrifices of wicked, rebellious, disobedient people are unacceptable to the Lord. Proverbs 21:3 AMP says, “To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.” The sacrifices God expects from His children are the sacrifices of obedience and thanksgiving that spring from a righteous heart.

Hebrews 10:5-7 (AMP) quotes Psalms 40:5-8 here: “Hence, when He [Christ] entered into the world, He said, Sacrifices and offerings You have not desired, but instead You have made ready a body for Me [to offer]; 6 In burnt offerings and sin offerings You have taken no delight. 7 Then I said, Behold, here I am, coming to do Your will, O God — [to fulfill] what is written of Me in the volume of the Book.” Psalms 40:6 AMP says, “You have given me the capacity to hear and obey Your law.”

These are the words spoken by Jesus, concerning God’s plan and purpose for His life. The success of Jesus’ mission was in His absolute obedience to the will of the Father. Jesus is God, but He still humbled Himself to obey the Father – even unto death. Jesus was submitted to the Father and He was also submitted to His Word. We are not better than Jesus! So many Christians do not respect the Word of God. You know they don’t because they don’t obey it! They just do what they want to do. They might ask God to forgive them if they want something from Him that they can’t get any other way, or if they find themselves in a mess they can’t rescue themselves out of, but otherwise they just follow the lusts of their eye and the lusts of their flesh.

It’s time to remember and keep our covenant with our Father God. God is not there for your convenience, at your beck and call, to jump when you say, “jump”! God is not your servant, He is your Master! You owe Him everything. Your eternal outcome is in His hands. Selfishness, disobedience and rebellion are disrespectful to the Lord. It’s time to honor Him with our respect and obedience!

Vs. 1 Therefore, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit.

If we are in Christ Jesus—belonging to Him, and serving Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength—we walk free from any and all condemnation! No one can lay a charge against us! If anyone would lay a charge against us, it would for sure not be Jesus or our Father God.

Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect [when it is] God Who justifies [that is, Who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, Who acquits us?] 34 Who is there to condemn [us]? Will Christ Jesus (the Messiah), Who died, or rather Who was raised from the dead, Who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He intercedes for us? Romans 8:33-34 AMP

Who dares to bring a charge against God’s elect, when it is God who has justified them? Who dares accuse or impeach those God has chosen? Would God? Definitely not! Why would God accuse those He has acquitted? Would Jesus? Of course not! Jesus paid too high a price for our righteousness—His own life! Even now Jesus is interceding for us and pleading our case with the Father! The Father, Son and Holy Spirit love us and nothing can separate us from that love! We are justified and made righteous in God’s eyes. If condemnation comes, it’s going to come from the devil, the accuser of the brethren (Revelation 12:10).

Vs. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has freed me from the law of sin and of death.

There is a law of sin and death, but the child of God is freed from that law and can now walk in a higher law—the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus!

For the wages which sin pays is death, but the [bountiful] free gift of God is eternal life through (in union with) Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 AMP

Rodney Howard Browne shows us that when you sin, the wages you receive is death, but when you receive Jesus as you Lord and Savior, you receive the free gift of eternal life. You can’t pay for eternal life, neither can you earn it—Jesus paid for it in His blood—however, no matter who you are or what you’ve done, you can have it free if you will just give your life to Jesus.

Wait and listen, everyone who is thirsty! Come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Yes, come, buy [priceless, spiritual] wine and milk without money and without price [simply for the self-surrender that accepts the blessing]. Isaiah 55:1 AMP

There is no price tag that can be placed on Jesus’ blood or His mercy or His grace, therefore it is offered as a free gift—His life in exchange for yours. It is free when we surrender to Him; it is free when we trust Him with our life.

Vs. 3 For God has done what the Law could not do, [its power] being weakened by the flesh [the entire nature of man without the Holy Spirit]. Sending His own Son in the guise of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, [God] condemned sin in the flesh [subdued, overcame, deprived it of its power over all who accept that sacrifice]

Rodney Howard Browne tells us that God did what absolutely no one else could do—stripped sin of its power over those who accept Jesus and believe in the price He paid.

Vs. 4 So that the righteous and just requirement of the Law might be fully met in us who live and move not in the ways of the flesh but in the ways of the Spirit [our lives governed not by the standards and according to the dictates of the flesh, but controlled by the Holy Spirit].
Vs. 5 For those who are according to the flesh and are controlled by its unholy desires set their minds on and pursue those things which gratify the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit and are controlled by the desires of the Spirit set their minds on and seek those things which gratify the [Holy] Spirit.

Rodney Howard Browne shows us that God has delivered us from sin and its power. Now we must choose to walk in this freedom and this righteousness. We must learn what pleases our Father and we must seek and pursue those things which please His Holy Spirit.

Vs. 6 Now the mind of the flesh [which is sense and reason without the Holy Spirit] is death [death that comprises all the miseries arising from sin, both here and hereafter]. But the mind of the [Holy] Spirit is life and [soul] peace [both now and forever].
Vs. 7 [That is] because the mind of the flesh [with its carnal thoughts and purposes] is hostile to God, for it does not submit itself to God’s Law; indeed it cannot.

It is your choice and your responsibility to renew your mind to the will, plan and purpose of God. If you do not train yourself in the Word of God and yield to the Holy Spirit’s leading, your mind, which is carnal or fleshly, will pull you back into walking in your old ways—from which you have been redeemed!

Vs. 8 So then those who are living the life of the flesh [catering to the appetites and impulses of their carnal nature] cannot please or satisfy God, or be acceptable to Him.
Vs. 9 But you are not living the life of the flesh, you are living the life of the Spirit, if the [Holy] Spirit of God [really] dwells within you [directs and controls you]. But if anyone does not possess the [Holy] Spirit of Christ, he is none of His [he does not belong to Christ, is not truly a child of God].

Your flesh can never please God, but as you allow the Holy Spirit, who lives in you, to control and direct you, you will be truly pleasing to God and you will walk in the fullness of His grace, favor and blessing!

Now after the Sabbath, near dawn of the first day of the week, Mary of Magdala and the other Mary went to take a look at the tomb. 2 And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled the boulder back and sat upon it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his garments as white as snow. 4 And those keeping guard were so frightened at the sight of him that they were agitated and they trembled and became like dead men. 5 But the angel said to the women, Do not be alarmed and frightened, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, Who was crucified. 6 He is not here; He has risen, as He said [He would do]. Come, see the place where He lay. 7 Then go quickly and tell His disciples, He has risen from the dead, and behold, He is going before you to Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you. 8 So they left the tomb hastily with fear and great joy and ran to tell the disciples. Matthew 28:1-8 AMP

1. Around the world, people worship idols of wood and stone—gods that have eyes that cannot see, ears that cannot hear, and a mouth that cannot speak.

We worship the One and Only True and Living God—Creator of heaven and earth.

Religion is man trying to reach God by or through millions of ways—Christianity is God reaching out to man by and through One Way and One Person—the Way, the Truth, and the Life—Jesus Christ!

John 3:16-17 AMP—For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ( unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him.

2. The One we worship is alive and we are allowed to have a personal relationship with Him 24/7.

Worship involves intimacy:
It’s a love relationship
He loves us and we love Him
He loved us before we knew Him and while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us
He gave us His all
Ephesians 5:25 AMP—Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her.

Ephesians 5:32 AMP—This mystery is very great, but I speak concerning [the relation of] Christ and the church.
It’s a marriage—He is the Groom and we are the Bride of Christ

Jesus’ Blood was given as an offering for sin and a purchase of our freedom.

Jesus’ Body was given as an offering for sin and a purchase of our freedom.

3. A week before He was crucified, Jesus made a triumphal entry into Jerusalem, but even as they worshipped Him, He wept over Jerusalem.

Luke 19:41-42 NKJV—Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it, saying, “If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.

They missed their Day of Visitation—much like the modern Church!

4. Today—and every day—we can celebrate the Resurrection—He’s alive—He lives—He reigns!

Worship involves a sacrifice.

He loved us and He loves us now—He gave His body and His blood—as a ransom for many.

We love Him—we give our hearts, our minds, our bodies, our finances—and we worship Him.

We interact with Him
He speaks—we listen
We speak—He hears
He loves on us
We love on Him
We tell about Him
He tells about us

Will you worship Him today—spirit, soul and body?
Will you give Him your all—your best?

Jesus needed a vehicle. If this happened today, He’d say, “Now go to the dealership down the road, and you’ll see a car on the lot. Just get in it and bring it over here. If they ask what you’re doing with the car, just say; “My Master has need of it. We’ll bring it back.” There was a need, and God provided for that need.

When they needed the upper room, the same thing happened. In Mark 14:12-16, the apostles said they needed a place to get together for the Passover meal. Jesus told them to look for a man with a big pot and to follow him home. “Go in there,” Jesus said, “and tell them that we need their guest room. You’ll find everything laid out for you.”

God provides, no matter how impossible it looks. He furnishes a table in the wilderness. He makes the crooked paths straight. He’ll provide for you. All He wants you to do is to trust Him. Will you trust Him? Maybe you want to go to Bible school, but you’re worried about your tuition. Would you trust Him? If you can’t believe God for your tuition, how are you ever going to believe God when it comes to funding your ministry or missions operation?

A lot of people have said, “Well, you know, it’s great that you preach this message of provision and all that, but Jesus didn’t have anything and Jesus even said it Himself, ‘Foxes have holes, birds have nests, but the Son of man hath not where to lay His head.’” Jesus didn’t have a home because He didn’t need one. What He did need, He got. You don’t really need anything when you’re all you need. When you walk on water just as a hobby, do you think you’re going to lose one night’s sleep about a need? Jesus knows what you have need of, though.

He knows you have a family. He knows you need to work and earn money to provide for your family. He knows! That’s why He tells you to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added — not subtracted — unto you. He knows what you have need of!

For years my family didn’t need a home either. We just traveled, lived in hotels, and kept our stuff in storage. For years we’d wanted to get a home, but we’d stopped talking about it, because every time we asked the Lord if we could get a home, He said no. I said, “Lord, I’d love to give my wife and kids a house. I don’t want the kids growing up in a hotel room.”

When the revival broke out in central Florida in 1993, the Lord spoke to me and said, “It’s time for you to get a home, son. Go and get some property, and build a house for your family.” So we soon found the piece of property and started building the house.

One day, as I was walking out on the foundation, I just lifted up my hands with tears rolling down my cheeks and said, “Lord, thank You so much for this house for my family.” As I said that, the Lord spoke to me audibly and said, “Son, you’ve built My house for the last fourteen years. Now I’m going to build your house.”

I said, “Lord, do You really mean that? You’re going to build my house?” He said, “Yes, you watch it, I’m building your house. I’ll make a way for you.” Jesus knew my desire. It’s such a pleasure just to come home, to have a place called “home.”

When we moved into the house, I got my wife and the kids together and said, “This home is just a blessing from God, and if God tells us to give it away, we will.” You see, everything we have belongs to Him — we’re just stewards, managers, of what He blesses us with. As Stewards, we need to do whatever He tells us to do with everything we have. So if He ever needs my house, He has it without a question.

When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi,

he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I

the Son of man am ?

And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist:

some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the

prophets. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I

am?

MATTHEW 16:13-15

Jesus asked the disciples two questions. “Whom do men

say that I am?” And then, “Whom do you say that I am?” I believe

that these two questions will be asked of you as you read this

book. Jesus wanted to know who His disciples thought He was,

and now He wants to know who you think He is.

Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the

Son of the living God.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou,

Simon Bar-jona; for flesh and blood hath not revealed it

unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon

this rock [of revelation] I will build my church; and the

gates of hell will not prevail against it.

MATTHEW 16:16-18 (INSERT MINE)

I want you to notice something. Peter saw something that

day. His eyes were opened and he saw who Jesus really was. As

we step into this new millennium, what the world needs more

than anything is to see Jesus clearly. Unfortunately, most people

see Jesus through the eyes of religion and tradition.

When we went to Disney World to see their Christmas

production one year, we saw people put out their cigarettes and

stand there with tears rolling down their cheeks, singing about

the babe who was born in Bethlehem. Everybody can get tearful

about a baby. If you keep Him as a baby, you don’t have to

accept Him as the Lord of your life.

Jesus is born at Christmas and He dies at Easter. At

Easter, Jesus is on the cross. The world again stands with tears

rolling down their cheeks, this time about the fact that Jesus

died. But you know what? They still don’t make Him their

Lord. To be born again and make heaven their home, they have

to invite the risen Lord Jesus to come and make His home on

the inside of them. They have to see, and believe, that the tomb

is empty.

The world says that Jesus was just a good man. Some

say He was a prophet in a long line of prophets. Others say He

was an eccentric. Some say He was a martyr. And others say He

was a fairy tale. Children are raised to believe in the tooth

fairy; the Easter bunny; Santa Claus, and Jesus Christ. We’ve

put Jesus in there with the fairy tales, and when children eventually

find out the fairy tales are not real, they start to wonder

about Jesus too.

But Jesus is not a fairy tale; He’s a living reality.

What is very interesting is that every year is marked on

the calendar as the year of our Lord. 2000 AD. Anno Domini —

AD — is Latin for “year of our Lord.” You don’t see it written

down as “Year of Buddha 2000,” or “2000 Mohammed,” or

“2000 Confucius.” One man split the time of a whole planet,

and His name is Jesus. It’s more than just coincidence.

Finally the day came when Jesus came to the Jordan to

be baptized. John the Baptist baptized Jesus and God Himself

spoke from heaven and proclaimed Him to be His own beloved

Son. Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, where He

fasted for forty days and forty nights and was tempted by the

devil. But He soundly defeated Satan with the Word of God.

(See Luke 4:1-15.)When Jesus came out of the wilderness, the

power of the Holy Spirit was all over Him to preach, teach,

heal, and deliver.

Everywhere Jesus went during His earthly ministry, He

left a trail of people who were set free and healed, who went

away walking and leaping and praising God. We count three

people raised from the dead: the widow’s boy outside the city of

Nain (see Luke 7:11-16), Jairus’ daughter (see Luke 8:49-56),

and Lazarus (see John 11:43-45). What’s more, at the end of his

gospel, John said,

And there are also many other things which Jesus

did, the which, if they should be written every

one,I suppose that even the world itself could not

contain the books” that should be written.

JOHN 21:25

Miracles were not the only unusual occurrences in Jesus’ ministry,

however. He habitually hung out with the despised tax

collectors and sinners. He didn’t act like them, but He didn’t

condemn them or make them feel inferior either. That’s why

they loved to be around Him, because they felt He accepted

them as they were. Then, when He looked at them with eyes of

love, and taught them the truth about God, they wanted to get

rid of their sin to get closer to Him.

Jesus has never been repulsive like religion can be. When

you see Hollywood’s idea of what they think God and God’s people

are like — condemning, mean, angry, and uncompassionate —

you know that they get it straight from religion. Religion focuses

on your sin and condemns you for it; but Jesus focuses on setting

you free. His love and goodness lead you to repent and give you

the power to overcome the sin in your life. Religion locks you

into sin; Jesus is the lover of your soul who sets you free from

sin.

God so loved the world, that he gave his only

begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him

should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn

the world; but that the world through him

might be saved.

JOHN 3:16-17

That was His whole mission. There was never a time that

Jesus did not keep in mind the divine purpose and plan for His

life. He came with one goal, and that was to pay the price at

Calvary for your sin and my sin. He was born to die — in a

remarkable, unparalleled act of love.

Yet if you listen to some preachers today; you’d think that

God only sent His Son into the world to tell the world, “You are

sinners and I am angry with you. I want you to burn in the flames

of hell.” Somehow they think that this is the gospel of Jesus

Christ. Jesus never came with a message of condemnation. Jesus

came with a message of love and forgiveness. We can see this

demonstrated through the story of the woman who was caught in

adultery:

And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a

woman taken in adultery; and when they had set

her in the midst,

They said unto him, Master, this woman was

taken in adultery, in the very act.

Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such

should be stoned.” but what sayest thou?

This they said, tempting” him, that they might

have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and

with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he

heard them not.

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up

himself, and said unto them, He that is without

sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

And again he stooped down, and wrote on the

ground.

And they which heard it, being convicted by their

own conscience, went out one by one, beginning

at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was

left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none

but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where

are those thine accusers? Hath no man con -

demned thee?

She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her,

Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

JOHN 8:3-11

no longer rest upon your life. He wants to make you

As long as Samson had his long hair, as long as

Samson was under the anointing of God, he was

God, you are unstoppable in that which God has for your

life.

But Samson had a big weakness in his life. He

loved the world and he loved the things of the world. You

can’t have both. You can’t have the anointing of God and

the world. This is what people don’t understand. They

want to come to a meeting where the anointing of God is

and the power of God begins to move and then go outside

the door and carry on living like they did before.

You Cannot Live in Two Kingdoms

You cannot keep one foot in the world and one

foot in the kingdom of God. If you can sit in a church and

live a lifestyle that does not exemplify a child of God

without feeling convicted then I want you to know the

Holy Ghost is not a part of that place.

Samson was in bed with the world. Even though

the anointing of God would rest upon him, the desire for

the things of the flesh was greater in his life. Because of

the awesomeness of the presence of God, he thought he

could play with the world and get away with it. And he

began to compromise.

Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of

the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not

that the Philistines are rulers over us? What is this that

thou hast done unto us? And he said unto them, As

they did unto me, so have I done unto them.

And they said unto him, We are come down to bind

thee, that we may deliver thee into the hands of the

Philistines. And Samson said unto them, Swear unto

me, that ye will not fall upon me yourselves.

And they spake unto him, saying, No; but we will bind

thee fast, and deliver thee into their hand: but surely

we will not kill thee. And they bound him with two

new cords, and brought him up from the rock.

And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted

against him: and the Spirit of the Lord came mightily

upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms

became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands

loosed from off his hands.

And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth

his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men

therewith.

Judges 15:11-15

Over a period of time, you start to find your niche.

You start to find your purpose, you start to find the plan,

you start to find the direction, you start to learn which

way God is taking you. It is not something that happens

overnight. The Bible says, “Many be called, but few

chosen” (Matthew 20:16). I could even term it this way,

“Many are called and some are frozen.”

God has called people and anointed people, but a

lot of them will never fulfill the call of God on their life

because they are not prepared to pay the price. They are

not prepared to do what God has called them to do. Or

they are not prepared to be faithful in the little. If you are

not going to be faithful in the little, God cannot make you

a ruler over much.

I believe God will use the whole Body of Christ in

this last day and I believe there are people in churches

right now who have been sitting there for ten, fifteen,

twenty years, receiving the Word, who in these last days

visitation from the Lord and God will send them in a

matter of two or three months. They will sell all their

possessions and go on to a foreign field and serve the

Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that with all my heart. So

never say, “God couldn’t use me.”

Everyone is called to stand in the ministry of

reconciliation, one on one, to tell others, to proclaim.

Everyone should be a preacher – a proclaimer – of the

blessing of the Lord Jesus Christ. You can start in your

work place. If you are faithful with that, God might just

increase it and get you into some other places.

Don’t Go Without a Message

When I lived in South Africa, I was teaching at a

Bible school that had about four hundred students. I had

to teach them twice a day, five days a week, on different

subjects. I would say to them, “How many of you are

going to preach?” Everyone raised their hand. I said,

“How many of you have a message,” and no one

responded. “How many would like a place to preach?”

Everyone raise their hand. Then I said to them, “Get a

message from God first, and then get a place to preach.”

What is good in having places to preach if you

don’t have a message when you get there? Do you know

how many ministers are that way? They look for places to

preach and when they get there they haven’t got a

message to give. God will give you a message. God will

give you a word and when you are faithful to deliver that,

He might give you some more.

Such As I Have

As the Apostle Peter said, “Silver and gold have I

none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus

Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk” (Acts 3:6). We must

give what we have on the inside of us. It flows forth out

of us, bringing life wherever we go. People look at my

ministry today after thirteen years and say, “It is so

wonderful how things are going and God is blessing.” But

they don’t know we have been to hell and back to get

here.

We must have the determination to obey God and

to keep doing what God has called us to do. We cannot

worry about what other people say, or the rejection that

will come our way. We cannot be hindered by people

who will talk evil about us, who will make up stories

about us, who will slander us.

You make the decision in your heart to walk in

love and to obey God and do what God has called you to

do. Ultimately, when it comes down to the bottom line,

it’s you and God. No one else is going to make it happen

for you. If you are waiting for some hand out, you can

forget about it.

Start doing whatever your hand finds to do. There

is a progression into the things of God, into the anointing.

These things don’t come overnight. God is not going to

take a ministry, like some of the great men of God have

had, and suddenly give it to you in one day. It takes time.
