The Ministers Conference was phenomenal this year. It was going to another level. With the theme being No Limits No Boundaries. You could feel the excitement of the people as the Holy Spirit started to really minister. The new song that was sung every day ministered so strongly. When I woke up in the morning the song and the words would be going through my head. There are truly No Limits! As Pastor Rodney Started preaching on what the Lord was giving him you could sense that it was a message that was right on time.  That God is doing something big. The scripture verse that was theme for the meetings 1 Chronicles 4:9-10 – Where Jabez asked God to bless him and enlarge his territory. God is trying to enlarge our territory and one of the ways that he is doing it is through the Tithes and offerings that we give.

Pastor Andre talked about how we must give upstream like Abraham did with Melchizedek. He taught us that as we give upstream we will receive the total blessing and how there were some that were not and this was the main reason that they did not receive the blessings that they so want to attain.

Pastor Rodney talked about how we need to have our own business to fulfill our mission. God has placed us in our own business in our personal life and it was confirmation to me that we are in the perfect will of God.

Tuesday morning Pastor Rodney talked bout he operates the ministry on a zero balance most of the time.  He said when God tells me to go somewhere I must go. Not to wait until all the money is there. We walk by faith and not by sight.

Recently I have been helping in Main Event in Studio B, the Kids Church at the River at Tampa Bay. The services are filled with loud, exciting music, fun-filled games, and powerful teaching. This past Sunday, the church gave away school supplies –notebooks, pencils, and folders –to every child in attendance that Sunday. Because the River Outreach Department thoroughly advertized the give-away, many first time visitors rode to the church on the church buses and brought their children with them.

The line for registration was packed! Inside Studio B, the kids played games and listened with rapt attention as the simple message of the gospel was presented. In response to the teaching, over one hundred children came forward to the altar to give their life to Christ. It was incredible to see the change on their faces as they prayed. The sweet presence of Jesus was so strong; I was personally impacted and challenged by the sermon and the anointing that was present throughout the entire service. Helping in Studio B is more than just supervising an auditorium filled with children; every Sunday, I get the opportunity to make an impact and sow into the kids that attend each Sunday –and each Sunday I get challenged to rise to the next level and seek God more.

One of the things that I was really able to understood and get out of the “Matters of the Heart” class was that no matter what happens, what you do or not do, what you say or not say, it always comes back to where was your heart . I always heard the story about how David was chosen to be the anointed one because he was faithful in the little and because of his heart. And that he was a man after God’s own heart, I always thought “wow he must have been super close to God and never sinned” but never really realizing that he failed God in many diff ways and that it was because of his heart that he was always quick to repent and quick to stand back up and keep on with his walk with God. As Pastor Adonica would teach on David’s life my eyes began to open to see how great God is and how He just wants our heart, He wants our hearts to be pure, and clean. It really amazes me to think and to know that God knows my heart, you know to just know that God knows everything about my heart and how He’s so precious towards it and how He wants to fulfill every dream every desire that I hold. It amazes me! Just like David, who messed up and looked where He wasn’t suppose to look, and then committed adultery, and killed someone..I am not perfect either and to just see how God knew David’s heart and knew David for whom he was God is the same to me and to everyone else. My relationship with God has grown so much; it feels good knowing He knows me, everything about me. This class really opened my eyes. Things that I knew and have heard a million times I never really understood it until last week. I am truly blessed!

The Winter Camp Meeting presented by our pastor Rodney Howard Browne at The River Church approximately two weeks ago, was one of the most unique and diverse experiences I ever had in my journey as a Christian.

We had the opportunity to worship the Lord with all our heart, soul and mind, to pray in tongues, to observe miracles of healing, to laugh, to enjoy and to be saturated by the presence of the Holy Spirit and to learn how to be closer to the Lord. So many events took place during those days and from my own point of view, the presence of the Holy Spirit was strong and special every single meeting by blessing, touching and anointing the ones who were so hungry for God.

From the events that took place, I will begin with the Biography of Pastor Rodney which little by little explained with such details, the call of the Lord in his life. I got so touched learning that even though he went through so many trials, difficulties and persecutions, he NEVER gave up, he NEVER quit, the opposite that encourage him to keep going until the end and reach as many souls as he could. During the thirty years of his Ministry, I consider Pastor Rodney an outstanding son of God, who has serve the Lord accompany by his wife Pastor Adonica and his children in an unique, humble and phenomenal way. It is a real inspiration to me and my brothers and sisters in Christ to follow his steps with such dedication, honor, persistency, kindness, authority, humbleness, sacrifice, excellency and goal to save and save SOULS!!!!!! Thirty years, 30 years. What an awesome CELEBRATION!!! What a BLESSING!!!

His marriage is another great example to each of us, because with his wife and children, they traveled as a team to different countries and were able to reach and touch so many lives, so many souls. Pastor Rodney is showing us daily how to be a real * Servant of God *

The other event that took place during the meeting which impacted me was the day our Pastor Rodney prayed for a group of twelve (12) deaf persons. By placing his hands individually on each of them and speaking with authority regarding the situation, was enough for the Lord to immediately perform miracles in front of our eyes, touching with the divine healing so many lives and tears of joy I couldn’t contain.

Another special day was when John Hall (Big John) sang to the Lord his own songs, which were so anointed and I was really touched. The words were simple, but so powerful at the same time for us. In fact, I wrote one of his songs to sing it daily before bed-time.

The Celebration of those thirty years, are opening new doors to celebrate 30 more with the favor and grace of JESUS. We are so blessed by Pastor Rodney, because he is reaching and touching around the world. Even places that are so far away, today thanks to the WEB and new technology have the opportunity to receive salvation. His VISION, His GOAL, * REACH MANY SOULS * Amen.

Unsaved ones from the world,
Lost ones, from so far away,
Sinners.

* The RIVER is doing it, day by day, night by night all with LOVE, amen!!!!!

The winter camp meeting ended up being a revival meeting for a lot of students who attend the river. When speaking to them it seem as though some of them were going through a time of “drought“ from receiving from the Holy Spirit. As the Worship went forth and the Living Word was declared by Pastor Rodney Howard Brown the students found Joy and a renewing by the word. The Winter Camp Meeting was an awaking for the students about how good our God is. One student I spoke with said that she was “down and out” but was reminded that the place she was (River Bible Institute) was the school she was placed and the where she needed to be. The enemy brings thoughts to us about our lives about who we are and where we are going, he has no place to decide whether or not we qualify to be in school. Jesus qualified us already and it is His will for us to finish and press on towards what he has for us. Pastor Rodney Howard Brown brings the Word and flows in the anointing and that’s when lives are change. Without God and His anointing nothing happens there would be a man in the pool pit using air. But thankful are the students who went to this meeting to hear the word of the Lord which has brought life and direction in this house, and thanks be to God that Pastor Rodney has submitted himself to the calling that God has placed on his life. We all should take a good look at how the Lord works through and in us. Winter Camp Meeting 2010 will not be forgotten by the students here at RBI AND RWS as Jesus Himself spoke directly to the hearts of his children.

I had been chronically suffering from deep depression for years. I went to every meeting Rodney had (it was at a church in Cherry Creek in Denver) on the last meeting of the last day Rodney told everybody who needed prayer to line up in the hall.He put my hand on my stomach,then his hand on my hand, I don’t remember what he prayed, but the power of God came on me, then I went down on the floor.I was healed &I believe delivered. It was so bad before I had seriousley considered anti-depressents,I had such a heaviness that I couldn’t seem to get rid of. I also knew my God was more than able to heal me. God is so faithfull. Thank you Rodney for being faithfull to the calling of God on your life. My husband & I are pre-registered for the meeting you have coming up in Denver Aug. 4th.-9th. We are so excited,we can’t wait. Guy with 3 children said I’m muslim I can’t. He grabbed his 3 children in huddle and the children said the prayer. Kevin- a man looked sad & depressed and he got rededicated and he gave him a big hug. Nancy- guy at bus depot was avoiding Nancy. He wasn’t sure if he’d go to Heaven, got saved. Lady was welcoming and said “I hope I’m going to Heaven” after she received Jesus she had a look of relief on her face and Kevin gave her a big hug. She said:” Thank you so much” and he gave her the dvd.

Guy, homeless man rededicated his life ( crying and trembling)It is so amazing that you are coming up to me today cuz I just talked to my mother about rededicating my life to the Lord. Kid-young man first cold but then warmed up and rededicated his life. Lady with family so hungry and desperate to receive Christ. Knocked her door- very receptive, ripe and ready. The ones that said the prayer to receive Christ seemed to want others to do it. Had a word for the lady. It was first time out of the 4 walls of the church and 50 got saved.

I lead 50 people to the Lord having set an original goal of 10 my very 1st time street evangelizing. I have two great stories: 1. I walked up to a man at the gas station ask the question, He said yes, I said why. He said because I love Jesus. I did the scale question and he said 4. I said let’s pray together so you can be a 5. We prayed and he said its funny you came over. He told me about his week and that he had a drink with some guys after work. He felt it was wrong because he had been trying to witness to them. I said we serve a loving and forgiving God. Confess and repent then go to those men and tell them although you said it was okay, it was not. Ask their forgiveness. We prayed and he said I’m going home to tell my wife. 2. Two women and two kinds stranded at the gas station. The one under the hood accepted Christ. The one in the drivers seat said I’m having problem and unless you can help me, I don’t want to hear anything. So I said I’ll help. We pushed the car into a parking space an she cried I have no way home. I said I’ll ask the team leader if it’s okay to give you a ride. We’ll be here to 4:30 so let me know. I continued to talk to her and her children then said if you need me let me know.

There is so much to share with you.Pastor Rodney and Adonica I love you both so much. I am one of your babies from 1993. This is going to be short, but the Holy Spirit will not let me keep going without sending you both something to let you know what is happening in my life now. A year ago I moved back to Winston-Salem. Actually with fear of going to any church but The River. Pastor Rodney realy contected to me in so many areas in my life. At the time I became a member there, I had come home to Jesus after so many years. God actually pulled me to the River. Had grown up here in Winston going to a Baptist shcool and having a very disfunctional family and now an addict on meth I was a real mess. Living in my car with my rottweiler I would go to the River every time I could. At the time I lived in St Pete so it was hard to get there sometimes I would bring my granddaughter when I could and even work in the childrens church when I got a chance, plus clean the church just because I had that opportunity to. Those times when I was getting clean off of meth and no gas I would just stay in the word and watch christian TV. That is when God was telling Pastor Rodney to get on American TV. Those days were not easy but I pressed in and Pastor Rodney gave me insight to all the religous spirits that I had picked up as a child. One morning he had all the ones that went up front to look straight in his eyes as he looked at each one of us and I was set free! Over the next 2-3 years Pastor David really helped me. He was always there praying for me anytime I wanted him too. Also with anyone I would bring to The River for prayer. There are so many things that happened with God moving in my life while attending the River. Times I just came by late at nite and was able to go and pray. Pastor Rodney God is still using you in my life in so many ways. Just for one – I still watch online about 4 weeks ago you were preaching on the Word staying in the Word That everything else will pass away (You said)”your house, your car, (right at that moment I looked at my sister and said “my BooBoo- my Rotti” 2 seconds later you said even your dog. Pastor Rodney Boo went to the River with me faithfully when no one else would – after church I would take him for walks on the grounds at the River church. I had just found out he had bone cancer. He just died a week ago. Adonicas mother even prayed for my dog once when he had messed bit my granddaughter once. That moment you said that my sister started crying and I knew God was using you again in my life. That dog had been my protector for 8 years. With me in the streets of St Pete late at night when I would go out and pray for people. When I lived in my car he was with me. Well the same week I found out about his condition – The book of Esther has come alive in my life. God brought me a wonderful man in my life. We are married and have Victory Squad Street Minister. You Both are always in my prayer. And I will be sending you a newsletter on this mighty army God is raising up in this ministry. Seeing signs and wonders following in gang invested areas. Just Sat. we were inside and apt. with the Bloods and praying with them. Leading people to Jesus on the streets in the underground all over. Hopefully Jeff and I will get the opportunity to come to The River soon and share with you both what is happening here. Please keep Victory Squad Ministry in your prayers. As we take back the streets for Jesus.
